Flood Watch until 12:00AM Friday

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a

* Flood Watch for portions of eastern Maryland, central and southern Delaware, and southern New Jersey.

* From 10:00 AM this morning through this evening.

* An area of heavy rain will lift northward across the region today. Rainfall totals of 1 to 2 inches are expected with locally higher amounts possible.

* The heavy rain will result in minor flooding along some rivers, streams and creeks in the area. Flooding of roadways and areas of poor drainage is also expected, especially as leaves and other debris clog storm drains.

* AFFECTED AREAS: EASTERN MONMOUTH ... ATLANTIC ... COASTAL OCEAN ... INLAND SUSSEX ... COASTAL ATLANTIC ... SOUTHEASTERN BURLINGTON ... CAPE MAY ... TALBOT ... KENT ... DELAWARE BEACHES ... CAROLINE ... QUEEN ANNE'S ... ATLANTIC COASTAL CAPE MAY ... KENT ... CUMBERLAND ... WESTERN MONMOUTH ... OCEAN
