November 6th:

Burglary-5900 block of Jordan Avenue
Between 3:17 pm and 8:31 pm, an unknown suspect forced open the front door of the residence while nobody was home. Once inside, the suspect ransacked the interior, but nothing was missing.

Grand Theft- 3090 El Cerrito Plaza
At 8:20 pm, the victim was seated inside of Starbucks when an unknown suspect entered the business and stole her laptop.

Driving Under the Influence- Central Avenue @ Belmont Avenue
An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and arrested the driver, a 28-year-old man from Richmond, for being under the influence of alcohol. The man was booked at the ECPD and then released to a friend.

November 7th:

Elder Abuse - Safeway, 11450 San Pablo Ave:
At 9:51 am, an officer responded to the report of a 72-year male victim being assaulted after intervening in a theft. The suspect shoved the victim, who fell to the ground and sustained an injury. The suspect fled the scene prior to the arrival of officers.

Shoplifter - CVS, 670 EC Plaza:
At 2:09 pm, an officer responded to the report of a theft. Upon arrival, the officer learned an unknown suspect stole items from the business and fled on foot.

Stolen truck and trailer - 300 block of Ashbury St.
At 1:13 pm, a community service officer responded to the report of a theft of a brown 2004 Ford F250 and an attached white trailer. An officer later located the vehicle parked a few blocks away.

Residential Burglary 7000 block of Seaview Pl:
At 3:21 pm, an officer responded to the report of a residential burglary. In between 1:00 pm and 6:00 pm, an unidentified suspect forced entry into the residence and conducted a massive ransack of the victim’s property.

Warrant Arrest - San Pablo Ave. /Blake Ave:
At 3:26 pm, an officer contacted a 33-year-old Albany man who was drinking a beer in public. The man was found to have a warrant and was subsequently arrested. The man was booked at the ECPD and then transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

November 8th:

Grand Theft – 300 block of Coronado St:
At 0926 hours, an officer responded to the report of a theft from an auto. In between 7:30 pm on Nov. 7th and 6:30 am on Nov. 8th, an unidentified suspect entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a $1500 Dell laptop computer.

November 9:

Stolen vehicle Recovery – 6600 block of Hill St:
At 11:55 am, a community service officer recovered the victim’s stolen vehicle at the listed location.

Out of state warrant arrest – 10900 San Pablo Ave:
At 1:19 pm, an officer accepted the arrest of a male who turned himself in after discovering he was wanted in another state. The male was booked and transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Auto Burglary – 11700 Block of San Pablo Ave:
At 12:10 pm, an officer reports an unknown suspect entered the victim’s vehicle by shattering the rear passenger window and removed two pairs of basketball shoes.

Auto Burglary – 11300 block of San Pablo Ave:
At 10:26 pm, an officer responded to a call of a theft where an unknown suspect entered the victim’s vehicle through a broken window and stole a purse.

Auto Burglary – 8000 block of El Cerrito Plaza:
At 11:18 pm, an officer responded to a call of an unknown suspect who had entered the victim’s vehicle through a broken window and removed a laptop computer.

November 10:

Shoplifting- 11565 San Pablo Avenue, Walgreens
At 8:31 am, two unknown females entered the business and stole 500 dollars worth of baby products.

Warrant Arrest- Carlson Boulevard @ Sutter Avenue
At 11:20 am, an officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop and arrested the driver, a 29-year-old man from Richmond, on a warrant. The man was booked at the ECPD and then transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Warrant Arrest- 11565 San Pablo Avenue, Walgreens
At 12:26 pm, an officer responded to the business on the report of an unwanted person on the premises. The officer contacted a 26-year-old Richmond man and found he had a warrant for his arrest. The man was booked at the ECPD and then transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Robbery – 11400 block of San Pablo Ave:
At 10:14 pm, an officer responded to a call of a robbery which had just occurred at a business. The officer learned that a shoplifting suspect had punched a store employee while stealing merchandise.

Vandalism – 6000 block of Central Ave:
At 10:27 pm, an officer responded to a call of a vandalism where an unknown suspect shattered the window of the victim's vehicle.

Vandalism – 11300 block of San Pablo Ave:
At 10:54 pm, an officer responded to a call of a vandalism where an unknown suspect shattered the window of the victim's vehicle.

Auto Burglary – 11300 block of San Pablo Ave:
At 11:25 pm, an officer responded to a call of a theft where an unknown suspect entered the victim’s vehicle through a broken window and stole a laptop computer. The total amount lost was $1600.

November 11:

Grand Theft- 11821 San Pablo Avenue
At 7:42 am, an employee of the business was telephoned and tricked into depositing funds from the business into a fraudulent account.

Burglary- 10176 San Pablo Avenue
At 8:15 am, officers responded to the business on the report of a burglary which occurred sometime during the night. An unknown suspect shattered the glass door to the business and then stole several electronics.

DUI – 11400 block of San Pablo Ave:
At 1:46 am, an officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested a 30-year-old man from Pleasanton for driving under the influence of a drug. The man was later released from the El Cerrito Police Department.
