This morning two female students age 13 and 14 reported a suspicious person they encountered while walking to school.

This occurred near the intersection of Kinloch and Lola.

Described as an older white male with a thin grey beard wearing a black hat.
He was driving a black Chevy pickup truck.

The man drove by the students slowly, rolled down his window, and waved at them. He then paced them at a slow speed in his truck for about a block. He left the area after one of the students pulled out her cell phone.

The event did not include any criminal act, but the behavior is suspicious and inappropriate. Anyone with information is asked to call 313-387-2551 and refer to case 18-07386
