South Brunswick Police are investigating a hit and run accident where a traffic light was struck by a tractor trailer. On Saturday November 10, 2018 at 6:30AM Officer Jason Gassman responded to the intersection of Route 27 and Heathcote Road for a struck traffic light. The impact of the crash caused the traffic light to fall onto a local business on Route 27. A witness reported seeing a white tractor trailer stopped at the intersection after the crash occurred. A black male exited the cab of the tractor and appeared to observe the damage. The driver then re-entered his tractor trailer and left the area towards Route 27 North. Officers from the South Brunswick PD and Franklin PD were on scene for almost four hours while repairs were being made to the traffic signal.

Blood Drive and Flu Clinic Today at SB Public Library
The South Brunswick High Public Health Club will be hosting a blood drive and flu clinic today at the South Brunswick Public Library (110 Kingston Lane, Monmouth Junction, NJ 08852). The blood drive hours are from 1:30PM – 7:30PM. The flu clinic hours are from 4:00PM – 7:00PM. You will need your insurance card and identification for the flu clinic. Anyone 12 and over can receive the flu vaccine.
