On Sunday, November 11, 2018, at 4:16 PM, SAPD Officers responded to reports of a shooting at the 1600 block of West Wisteria Place. Officers located an unresponsive adult male suffering from gunshot wounds on the grass parkway. Orange County Fire Authority paramedics responded, treated, and transported the victim to a local trauma center. The attending physician declared the victim deceased at 5:10 PM.
SAPD Homicide Detectives responded and assumed the investigation, which is ongoing. At this time, the motive for the homicide is not known.
