Latest information on the Woolsey Fire in Malibu as of Monday, November 12, at 9:30 AM. UPDATE (Monday, November 12, 9:30 AM) The following information was received since the previous Emergency Alert update:

-- All mandatory evacuation orders remain in effect for the City of Malibu. No persons are permitted to re-enter Malibu until further notice.
-- There are still active fires burning in several areas of Malibu.
-- All SMMUSD schools in Malibu will be closed until at least Friday, November 16. All parents should receive an email notification from the District.
-- A Red Flag Warning and wind advisory will be in effect through Tuesday, November 13, at 5:00 PM. Winds are expected to be NE 20-30 MPH with gusts up to 45 MPH through Tuesday, isolated gusts up to 55 MPH for wind-prone areas.  
-- Ongoing and intermittent power outages continue throughout Malibu due to weather and fire conditions. 
-- A new webpage has been established for updates related to the City of Malibu fires at www.MalibuCity.org/Woolsey. The website will be continually updated with new information as it is received and confirmed.

The following information was provided Monday, November 12, 2018, 7:30 AM by the Los Angeles County Fire Department and other first responders regarding the status of the Woolsey Fire as of Saturday night: 

• Currently, the fire is estimated to be 91,572 acres - 20% contained, actively burning in populated areas.  
• All of Malibu is still under mandatory evacuation. For the latest evacuation map, visit https://www.vcemergency.com (Ventura County) and https://www.lacounty.gov/woolseyfire/ (L.A. County). For ongoing evacuation notices, follow the Los Angeles County Sheriff on Twitter @LASDHQ. 
LA County Sheriff Deputies maintain a strong presence in the area of the Woolsey Fire to ensure the properties are safe and secure. 


LA County Health Department has issued a health advisory due to smoke from the Woolsey Fire. For more information, visit http://publichealth.lacounty.gov/index.htm.
 
LA County issued a boil water notice Sunday night for the Los Angeles County Waterworks District No. 29’s Point Dume and Encinal Canyon areas and the Las Virgenes Municipal Water District’s customers south of Westlake Village, east of the Ventura County line, north of the City of Malibu and west of Corral Canyon. http://dpw.lacounty.gov/wwd/web/
 
 

ROAD CLOSURES
PCH remains closed to all traffic between the LA/Ventura County line and Sunset Blvd. Evacuation on south bound PCH is still possible.
US-101 is open in both directions, but all off-ramps from Liberty Canyon Rd. to Valley Circle will remain closed until further notice.
