UPDATE: Mandatory evacuation ordered due to Woolsey Fire Incident in the Wood Ranch and Long Canyon area still in effect

Residents are reminded that the Ventura County Fire Department has ordered a mandatory evacuation for all residents and businesses along Wood Ranch Pkwy east to First Street; Long Canyon Road to Valley Gate Road due to the Woolsey Fire Incident.

Although there is currently no active fire in this area, the Office of Emergency Services HAS NOT LIFTED the evacuation order because another Santa Ana wind event that could bring additional fire to the area is expected for Sunday November 11 through Tuesday November 13. The evacuation order is in effect for the safety of residents and to help Firefighters, Law Enforcement and other first responders protect lives and property. We ask that residents follow these mandatory evacuation orders until the Office of Emergency Services evaluates the current conditions and authorizes the lifting of the orders.
