COMING SNOW/ICE THREAT:   WINTER MIX FOR THURSDAY
 
AFTER A COUPLE OF VERY COLD DAYS A WEAK STORM WILL HEAD OUR WAY ON THU AND SLOWLY DEVELOP, WELL OFF THE EAST COAST THRU THE WEEKEND.   THIS WILL INITIALLY BRING THE AREA A PERIOD OF SNOW AS IT ARRIVES TOMORROW MORNING, THEN EITHER A FEW HOURS OF A WINTER MIX OR EVEN RAIN TOM AFTN.    THERE WILL LIKELY BE A LULL IN THE PRECIP TOMORROW EVENING, ENDING COMPLETELY OR TAPERING OFF TO A LIGHT INTERMITTENT DRIZZLE OR SPRINKLE.   ANOTHER ROUND OF RAIN OR SNOW SHOWERS RETURNS NEW YEARS DAY AS COLDER AND WINDY WEATHER RETURN TO THE AREA.   SNOW SHOWERS AND SUBFREEZING TEMPS EXPECTED SAT-SUN AS WELL.
