UPDATE: Woolsey Fire still burning in Malibu & 0% contained; Mandatory evacuations still in effect for all of Malibu

UPDATE - (9:30 PM, Friday, November 9) The Woolsey Fire is now at 35,000 acres with still no containment. The fire continues to burn in populated areas of Malibu.
 
The entire City of Malibu remains under mandatory evacuation. City Hall and all other City facilities remain closed until further notice.
 
In addition to Malibu, the mandatory evacuation areas now include:
  • Los Angeles City - west of Valley Circle between Roscoe and Vanowen (West Hills area)
  • Calabasas - all communities east and west of Parkway Calabasas between US-101 (south of 101) and the end of Parkway Calabasas, including The Oaks.
  • All other evacuation orders issued earlier on Friday remain in place.
A new evacuation shelter has been set up at Canoga Park High School, 6850 Topanga Canyon Blvd., Canoga Park.

The Red Flag Warning has been extended through Tuesday, November 13.
