Mattie’s Call Missing Person found Murdered. Suspect In Custody. SHERIFF VICTOR HILL 
On November 8, 2018, a Mattie’s Call was issued for Robert Page after his family was unable to locate him. The Clayton County Police Department Uniform officers conducted an extensive search of the surrounding area, subsequently locating surveillance footage from a neighboring security camera. Upon reviewing video surveillance, the suspect, Martinez Ponce was observed on Robert Page’s property.
Officers located Ponce at a nearby residence, at which time he was transported to the Clayton County Police Headquarters to be interviewed. Clayton County Criminal Investigation Division (CID) obtained a search warrant for Ponce’s residence and located the remains of Robert Page.
Martinez Ponce was charged with Malice Murder and is currently being held in the Clayton County Jail. The investigation is still ongoing and additional charges may be pending.
