Arroyo Grande Police Department Deployed Officers to Assist With the Woolsey Fire in Ventura / Los Angeles Counties 
Senior Officer Jeff Smith and Officer Bradley Hogan have been deployed to assist with evacuations and maintain road closures at the Woolsey Fire. The fire has now spread between Ventura and Los Angeles Counties and 75,000 homes have been evacuated. The Arroyo Grande Police Department is putting together a contingency plan to platoon officers, should long-term resources be requested.
