Suspicious Package Delivered to San Mateo Business Complex Deemed Safe 
On Thursday November 8, 2018, just after 1pm, San Mateo Police Officers responded to an office park in the 100 block of Bovet Rd on a report of a suspicious package addressed to Congresswoman Jackie Speier’s Office. Officers quickly secured the scene and nearby offices were evacuated. The San Mateo County Bomb Squad responded to the scene and determined the package did not contain anything dangerous. The office complexes were re-populated, and Bovet Rd was re-opened to vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
