Dear MTSD Families and Staff,
Today, Monday, November 5, 2018, the District, along with the Montgomery Police Department and other first responders, will be conducting a safety and security drill at one of our schools.
This drill is a part of our strategic actions that include conducting activities to enhance our district safety team and crisis management plans. You may see emergency vehicles, police cars and staff in the area. Please note that this is only a drill.
In the case of a true emergency, the district will utilize text messaging, email, and phone calls to notify the school community. We regularly suggest that parents review their parent contact information in Parent Resources - Genesis, to ensure that all emergency contact information is up to date. As you know the district utilizes Twitter and Facebook, two other means of communitating district information.
