2018 Flu Clinic - The Lawrence Township Health Department will be hosting their third flu clinic on November 7th. Please click here for the schedule and additional information.



4th Quarter Taxes - As the 10th day of November falls on a Saturday and Monday, November 12th is a holiday and all municipal offices are closed, fourth quarter taxes are due in the Tax Collector's office by 4:30 pm on Tuesday, November 13, 2018.



Veterans Day: The Township of Lawrence will observe Veterans Day on November 11 with a program beginning at 11:00 am. This year's program will be held at the World War I Memorial in front of the Lawrence Township Municipal Building. This ceremony will commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I. The attached flyer contains more details.



Set Clocks Back This Weekend:  This weekend is the end of daylight savings time.  Please remember to turn you clocks back one hour at 2:00 a.m. on Sunday morning.  This is also a good time to remember to change the batteries in your smoke detectors.

Road Work

• US Route #1 Road Widening - NJDOT continues the Route #1 road widening project. Delays are expected as there will be lane shifts and closures in the southbound lanes between Nassau Park Blvd. and Quakerbridge Mall.  Please use caution in the construction area.
• Bakers Basin Road Work- Bakers Basin Road continues to be closed due to the Mercer County DOT bridge replacement project.  The closure applies to all vehicles, bicycles and pedestrians. Click here for more information.

Message from the Department of Public Works:
LEAF COLLECTION  PROGRAM HAS BEGUN.
During the months of November and December, the Public Works Department will ONLY be picking up leaves.

 

If you have any yard waste, you may take it to the Ecological Facility on Princeton Pike between the hours of 7:30 am and 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday and Saturday.  However, please be aware that beginning on December 1 until April, the Ecological Facility will be closed on Saturdays.
