The pedestrian trail between Hill Road (near the bridge) and Blemer Road is currently closed for an emergency sewer pipe repair by the Contra Costa County Sanitary District.
The trailhead is near Los Cerros Middle School. No estimated time to reopen is currently given.
As the trail closure could result in greater pedestrian and cycle traffic on surface streets, motorists are asked to be extra cautious today, and be watchful of the additional traffic.
