The Hollis Police Department would like to remind parents that if you are out Trick-or-Treating with your children tonight, please be cautious. Make sure you are walking with your children, paying attention to traffic, and wearing reflective clothing while carrying a flashlight or light source of some form.
PLEASE BE CAUTIOUS!!!
We would love to see your costumes and we remind you that you are welcome to stop by the Hollis Police Department during Trick-or-Treat hours.
If you are out driving tonight, please drive carefully, especially in residential neighborhoods. DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE AND DO NOT DRIVE DISTRACTED!!!
Additional Safety Tips for Halloween:
• Make sure all children have a trusted adult with them at all times.
• Put down electronic devices so you are not distracted and can pay attention.
• Wear bright clothing and carry a flashlight.
• Only visit homes that are well lit.
• Stay on a sidewalk if possible.
• Adults should sort through candy and make sure it is wrapped.
