Red Flag Warning issued in Sonoma County
The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning beginning at 11:00 PM tonight and is expected to lift around 6:00 AM on Wednesday morning.
North Bay hills above 1000 feet in elevation are expected to receive 20-30 mph winds with gusts of 55 mph with low humidty. The highest threat areas are Napa, Yolo and Lake Counties.
Any fires during the next two days could spread rapidly. PG&E does not have current plans to cut electricity but are monitoring the situation at this time. Local fire agencies are upstaffing, staging strike teams and will be monitoring as well.
Please be smart, don't spark any fires and be alert for smoke and fire. Call 9-1-1 if you see unattended flames.
