Fall Festivities and Crime Trend Warning 
Tomorrow is our annual safety “Trunk or Treat”. The E.F. Bucko Parade kicks off the event at 10 a.m. in the Breidert Green Municipal lot. Business and Organizations will decorate the trunks of their vehicles and hand out treats to the children who attend from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Afterwards, the Frankfort Historic Business Alliance will have their Ghosts on the Green Scavenger Hunt. We hope to see you there!
The Trick or Treating Hours on Wednesday, October 31st will be from 4 to 7 p.m.
Crime Trend Warning
The Frankfort Police Department has been made aware of some theft of mail incidents in Frankfort and other nearby communities. Offenders have stolen mail from mailboxes in an attempt to obtain checks being received or sent out by businesses. The offenders then use the checking account information to produce new fraudulent checks. It is recommended that businesses utilize PO boxes or have locked mailboxes to protect themselves from this type of criminal activity.
