A Yucaipa man is arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle and sales of
methamphetamine

LOCATION: County Line Rd/ Interstate 10, Yucaipa
SUSPECT(S): Rodney Ford, age 51 a resident of Yucaipa
VICTIM(S):
SUMMARY: On October 16, 2018, deputies located a reported stolen vehicle at the AM/PM gas station near Oak Glen Rd and Calimesa Blvd. The driver fled the scene prior to deputies arriving, but their investigation identified Rodney Ford as the driver of the vehicle. A felony warrant was issued for Ford's arrest and public assistance in locating Ford was requested.
On October 24, 2018, Yucaipa Station deputies received information on the possible whereabouts of Ford. Responding deputies located Ford and arrested him in the area of County Line Rd and Interstate 10. Ford was found in possession of approximately 5.7 grams of methamphetamine and indicia of drug sales. Ford was found to have a total of four separate warrants for his arrest/ Rodney was booked into Central Detention Center on an assortment of felony and misdemeanor charges and is being held in lieu of $225,000 bail.
