On Tuesday, October 24, 2018, at approximately 12:45 p.m., The New Castle Police responded to a residence on Pond Hill Road for a report of a home invasion.  Police are investigating a report of an unknown female who unlawfully entered an occupied residence after displaying what appeared to be a firearm and stole property.
 
The suspect in the home invasion is described as a very pale white female.  She is believed to be in her mid-thirties, approximately 5’7”, with a large frame and medium to long brown hair.  She was reportedly wearing a white hooded sweatshirt with green sleeves, blue jeans, pink sneakers and carrying yellow flowers.  We still have no reason to believe the suspect is still in the immediate area or a threat to our residents.
