Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male, Hispanic adult and wounding of another male Hispanic adult that occurred in the 100 block of South Holly Avenue, Compton.
 
On Saturday, October 20, 2018, at approximately 1:03 A.M., Compton Station deputies responded to a residence regarding  “Gunshot Victim” call.  Upon their arrival, deputies discovered two victims suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds.  The victims were attending a  party where the shooting occurred.

A 20-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the scene and the other victim, a 19-year-old was transported to a local hospital for further medical treatment.
 
There is no suspect(s) information at this time, and a motive has not been established.

The investigation is ongoing, and there is no additional information available at this time. NARRATIVE:
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are responding to investigate a shooting death of a man, which wounded another. The incident occurred on Saturday October 20, 2018, at approximately 1:03 a.m., on the 100 block of South Holly Avenue, Compton.

One victim was transported to a local hospital, and another victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
