The Athens-Clarke County Police Department would like to make you aware of the Annual AthHalf half marathon that will begin at 7:30 AM on Sunday, October 21st.

The race will begin in the Downtown Athens area and will travel along several streets that include Prince Avenue, Boulevard, Sunset Drive, S. Milledge Avenue, Lumpkin Street (Five Points), and East Campus Road. Please use caution if you will be in these areas this morning as to ensure the safety of the participants.

Traffic delays should be expected and motorists are encouraged to avoid areas and seek alternate routes if possible. Athens-Clarke County Police will be directing traffic at several intersections.
