One Vehicle Roll-Over Crash

Sheriff Richard J. Behnke of the Cass County Sheriff's Office reports that on 10/18/2018 at approximately 1652 hours, his Deputies were dispatched to 65000 block of M-40 Hwy, Jones, MI in Porter Township for a one vehicle roll-over personal injury accident. Deputies arrived on scene to find one vehicle upside down off the roadway into a field. The driver of the 1999 Ford Contour sedan was a Amanda Bolen (31 year old Elkhart, IN resident) Bolen was transported for her injuries to Three Rivers Hospital. Initial investigation shows that Bolen was driving south bound on M-40, and lost control of her vehicle then ran off the roadway and overturned several times landing on the roof of the vehicle.

Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in this accident, and seatbelts were worn during the time of the crash.
