Two events this Sunday that will involve road closures and impact traffic.

The Manchester Police Department would like to advise the motoring public of two events Sunday, October 21, 2018 the will cause traffic delays and congestion.

The first event is annual Hallo-Wiener Hustle that will begin at McGarvey's Pub on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at 900 AM

This is a 4-person Team Relay Race: Runners will depart McGarvey's head N on Elm St. E on Blodgett St S on Chestnut St. W in the alley north of Lowell St. Runners will enter secondary front entrance of McGarveys and the next runner from the team will depart from the main entrance in the front of the tavern and head north on Elm St and complete course.

The second event is the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at 11:30 AM.

Route: Start in Arms Park Leave Arms Park via Main Entrance heading North on Commercial St Right onto Canal St to Spring St Left onto Spring St to Elm St Right onto Elm St to Granite St Right onto Granite St to Commercial St (using WB lanes) Right onto Commercial St to Stark St Return to Park via Stark St One Victory Lap in the Arms Park lot

Motorists are urged to use caution around both events as there will be several road closures and runners.walkers in the roadway.
