On Thursday, 10/18/2018, beginning at 9:00 am, Martin Luther King Ave., between Coal Ave. and George St., will close completely to vehicle use for a period of 7 days. Motorists will have to utilize Abbett Ave., Ridgedale Ave., and Morris St. or Speedwell Ave. and Cory Rd. to circumvent the closure. MLK Ave. will be closed to Northbound traffic at Spring St. for the duration of the closure. Motorists destined for the Manahan Village complex or businesses on MLK closer to Spring St. can use Bishop Naziry Way and Coal Ave. to MLK Southbound to access those areas. This closure will be in effect 24 hours a day during this 7 day period. Please plan an alternate route around this area for the next 7 days.
