Incident Summary:
On Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at approximately 8:57 pm Petaluma Police officers were dispatched to the area of the Mary Isaak Center located at 900 Hopper Street for a report of an assault victim.
Upon arrival, officers located the victim who had injuries on his lower leg and a laceration on his upper arm. The victim reported David Larkin Papazian had struck him several times with a large piece of rebar during an argument. Papazian fled prior to the officers’ arrival and was later located on an abandoned parcel nearby. Several witnesses were interviewed and acknowledged Papazian was the aggressor during the incident.
The victim was transported to a local hospital and released after treatment. Papazian was booked for 245(A)(1) PC; Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Papazian's bail was set at $30,000.
