Deputies are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Rodney Jerome Ford

INCIDENT: Stolen Vehicle Recovery
LOCATION: AM PM Gas Station / Oak Glen Rd & 14th St, Yucaipa
SUSPECT: Rodney Jerome Ford, 48 years old, Resident of Yucaipa
VICTIM(S): Elizabeth Barrett, Resident of Beaumont
SUMMARY: On October 16, 2018, deputies responded to the area of Oak Glen Rd and Calimesa Blvd after receiving information that a stolen vehicle was in the area. When deputies arrived, they located the stolen vehicle, a Toyota SUV, at the nearby AM/PM gas station. The driver of the stolen vehicle, Rodney Jerome Ford, was captured on video surveillance driving the stolen Toyota SUV to the area. Ford fled the scene with other unknown parties in a second vehicle when he saw deputies in the area.
Law enforcement officers in the area are familiar with Ford and were able to positively identify him through their investigation and surveillance video. A felony arrest warrant has been obtained for Ford and deputies are asking for the public's assistance in locating him. He is known to frequent the Yucaipa and Redlands areas.
