Warrant Arrest
Officer Crow conducted a pedestrian stop and arrested a 39 year old adult male for sex registrant warrants.
 
#036 Assault with a Deadly Weapon (Taser)
FPD officers were dispatched to Pizarro Drive for a reported assault with a deadly weapon involving a Taser.  Upon arrival, it was determined that juveniles came to the residence in an attempt to fight another juvenile.  The father confronted the assailants and was reportedly hit, grabbed, and almost tased.  With the assistance of the SRO Unit, the primary aggressors were identified.  Two juveniles were subsequently issued a notice to appear and released in the custody of their parents. Case investigated by Officer Trzewieczynski.
 
#041 DUI Crash
Officers were dispatched to a traffic collision at Driscoll Rd and Mission Blvd.  The intersection was closed down due to exposed wires from a sheared off pole.  It was later determined one of the drivers was intoxicated.  A 52 year old adult male was transported by paramedics to a hospital for medical treatment.  The male was later booked at the FPD Jail for DUI.  Traffic at Driscoll and Mission was diverted for several hours due to the debris field. Investigated by Traffic Officer Snow. 
 
#001 Stolen Vehicle/Assault with a Deadly Weapon 
Security at a medical supply business on Kaiser Dr. called 911 when they observed someone stealing a company van (2001 Ford #53319T2).  Security followed the stolen vehicle N/B I880 at which point it exited onto Stevenson Blvd and then rammed the security officer’s vehicle intentionally.  The vehicle then fled south in the northbound lanes of I880.  Security video showed a black older model Ford 2 door F150 enter the lot prior to the company van being taken.  Several units checked the area however the van was not recovered.  Case was investigated by Officer Davis.
 
Homeless/Transient Calls for Service:
 
P18125307 Trespassing Warnings
Officer Gentry and Officer Carter conducted a security check of Walnut Plaza and the parking lots behind City Hall.  Several transients were cited for various Fremont Municipal Code sections.
 
Eight additional calls for service involved transients needing to be moved along at a number of locations throughout the City.
