Oct. 9th, 2018:

Warrant Arrest – Staples, 11565 San Pablo Ave:
At 0726 hours an officer located a 26 year-old woman after she was reported stealing from the business. The woman also had a shoplifting warrant and was subsequently field cited.

Stolen Vehicle, 10200 San Pablo Ave:
At 1308 hours, an officer responded to the report of a stolen vehicle. Earlier, an unknown suspect used a stolen identification card to secure a test drive of a white 2001 Toyota Highlander. The officer was able to identify the subject as a 19-year-old transient woman.

Stolen Vehicle, 1000 block of Arlington Blvd:
At 1703 hours, officers responded to the report of a stolen vehicle. In between 1100 and 1700 hours, an unknown suspect stole a red 1991 Nissan truck.

Battery / Drunk in Public: BART Path / Blake St:
At 1745 hours, officers responded to the report of a fight. The victim was heavily intoxicated and drinking with the suspect, a 62-year-old Richmond resident. After the fight, the suspect fled the scene without being apprehended. As officers arrived on scene, the victim took an aggressive stance with officers. The man was taken into custody and booked into the Martinez Detention Facility.

Oct. 10th, 2018:

Public Intoxication – 1700 Liberty St:
Officers responded to an apartment on the report of someone screaming in the area. A 62-year-old Richmond resident was found sitting in an illegally parked vehicle with an open container of alcohol on the dashboard. The man was placed under arrest for being intoxicated, booked at the ECPD, and then released with a citation.

Oct. 11th, 2018:

Warrant – San Pablo Ave / Moeser Lane:
At 2034 hours, an officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested a 53-year-old man from Richmond on a Contra Costa County warrant. He was booked at the ECPD and then transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Possess Controlled Substance – Kearney St / Conlon Ave:
At 0227 hours, an officer conducted a pedestrian stop and contacted a 41-year-old man from San Pablo. The man was on probation and found to be in possession of methamphetamine. He was arrested, booked at the ECPD, and then released on a citation.

Oct. 12

Stolen Vehicle – 5500 block of Macdonald Ave:
At 0622 hours, an officer reports an unknown suspect stole the victim’s vehicle from in front of their residence during the early morning hours. The officer searched the area and located the car nearby.

Theft from Auto – 10600 block of San Pablo Ave:
At 0717 hours, an officer reports an unknown suspect entered the victim’s vehicle via an unlocked door and stole the victim’s wallet. The suspect then used one of the victim’s credit cards at the Walgreen’s in EC.

Stolen Vehicle – 6600 block of Gatto Ave:
At 0801 hours, an officer reports an unknown suspect stole the victim’s vehicle from in front of their residence sometime overnight. The officer searched the area for the victim’s car but did not locate it.

Auto burglary – 900 block of Norvell St:
At 0813 hours, an officer reports an unknown suspect used a large stone to shatter the rear passenger window of the victim’s vehicle and steal a red backpack containing camping/survival equipment.

Attempted Residential Burglary – 1600 block of Navellier St:
At 1500 hours, an officer reports an unknown suspect pried open an exterior door window panel and then tried to gain entry to the residence through the garage. There was no entry made into the residence, and there was no loss.

Residential Burglary – 2600 Block of Francisco Way:
At 1850 hours, an officer reports that an unknown suspect forced open a sliding glass door located to the rear of the victim’s home. The suspect conducted a moderate ransack of the master bedroom and stole jewelry and electronics.

Drug Paraphernalia – 11425 San Pablo Avenue:
At approximately 2100 hours, officers responded to a suspicious circumstance to the rear of the business. Upon arrival, officers located a subject who was in possession of drug paraphernalia and possible stolen items.

DUI Collision – San Pablo Ave/ Hill Street:
At approximately 2250 hours, officers responded to a collision and determined that the at-fault driver was driving under the influence.

Oct. 13

Robbery – 11450 San Pablo Avenue (Safeway):
At approximately 1900 hours, officers were dispatched to the Walgreens store regarding a subject who was pouring milk on himself. Officers arrived and contacted the subject. Officers learned that the subject was at the Safeway store earlier and stole some items. When a Safeway security guard confronted the subject, the subject made threats and movements as though the he was going to attack the store security guard. The Safeway security guard sprayed the subject in the face with pepper face. The subject then fled the scene running to the Walgreens store where officers contacted him.

Oct. 14

Warrant Arrest – San Pablo Ave and Knott Ave:
At 1309 hours, an officer conducted a traffic stop and subsequently arrested the driver, a 22-year-old male from San Pablo, for an outstanding warrant out of Contra Costa County. The male was booked then taken to the Martinez Detention Facility.

DUI Collision – 900 block of Richmond Street:
At 1900 hours, officers responded to a collision where a vehicle collided into a parked vehicle. Officers contacted the driver of the vehicle and determined that he was driving under the influence.

Warrant Arrest – S. 55th Street and Creely Avenue:
At 2145 hours, an officer conducted a traffic stop and subsequently arrested the passenger, a 25-year-old female from Las Vegas, for an outstanding warrant out of Ventura County
