Synopsis: P2, a 63 year old white female was Eastbound in the number one lane of 15700 Bernardo Heights Parkway approaching the intersection of Calle Pueblito. P2 was driving a 2004 Toyota truck. P1, a 30 to 40 year old Asian female was crossing the intersection on foot from North to South. P1 successfully crossed the Westbound lanes. At the center island, she continued South, leaving a place of safety. She entered the path of P2 and was struck. P1 suffered major internal injuries and was transported to the hospital but died in surgery. Traffic Division responded and are investigating the accident.
