HIRING ANNOUNCEMENT:
Class II Special Officers
Borough of Deal Police Department

The Deal Police Department is now accepting applications for the position of Class II Special Officer for the 2019 summer season. Applicants are required to be a U.S. Citizen, 18 years of age or older, hold a high school diploma or its equivalent, and be a resident of New Jersey during the appointment term. Applicants must have a good reputation and be of sound moral character, possess a valid New Jersey Driver’s License, and undergo a complete background investigation.

Interested applicants must submit an application, current resume, and the appropriate SLEO II certifications (if applicable) to Detective Daniel Liptak no later than 8:00pm on Friday, October 26th, 2018. Applications must be picked up in person at Deal Police Headquarters; 190 Norwood Avenue, Deal, NJ 07723.
