Recent scam phone calls 
The Whitefish Bay Police Department has received several reports of a scam involving calls from the Wisconsin Department of Energy or the Wisconsin Utilities Company. The caller states that the person has an overdue bill and if the bill is not paid two people will be sent out to disconnect their service. The caller advises the person to call 1-800-631-9171 and select option 1. These call are not legitimate.
Please do not provide money or personal information to anyone over the phone if you did not solicit the call.
