Superior/Ann Arbor Township Deputies are investigating two residential burglaries that occurred within the last week. One incident occurred in the 5000 block of Great Hawk Circle in Superior Township and the other in the 2500 block of Whitmore Lake Road in Ann Arbor Township. Both incidents appear to be related. In both cases the homes are currently up for sale and unoccupied. The suspects forced entry to the homes and removed numerous large appliances including furnaces, A/C units, washers, dryers, etc.. No arrests have been made at this time and no suspect information is available. The incident remains under investigation by area deputies. Residents are asked to report any suspicious activity around unoccupied homes for sale in the area.

Burglars are opportunistic and look for the easiest way in and out. The more you can secure your property the less likely you are to have your home broken into.
