Returning Peeper Arrested

On October 5th, a resident on the 1300 block of Hopkins Street reported that someone had been “peeping” in her windows in the morning.  As officers investigated the matter further, they learned that the suspect was also seen by neighbors “peeping” on two prior occasions—and recognized his photograph from a previous news article about his arrest.  Over the next few days, officers determined the suspect’s identity and obtained a warrant for his arrest.

On the morning of October 10th at about 6:20 am, the suspect returned to the victim’s residence—except this time officers were waiting for him.  When officers tried to detain the suspect on the side of the house, he ran away in the darkness of the morning.  With a perimeter already set-up, the suspect did not make it far before he was captured.

The suspect (Pedro Sosa Jacobo, Male, 56 years old, Oakland, CA) was arrested for suspicion of felony stalking, committing a crime while out on bail (felony), misdemeanor peeping and his outstanding arrest warrant.
