Flood Watch until 01:00PM

..Many Rivers In Flood, Rain Ending Later Today.. .Many rivers are in flood or running high and will continue to do so into the weekend. Meanwhile, rain continues early this morning, mostly falling across portions of western Wisconsin, but will be ending for most by the evening. Additional amounts up to 1/2 inch are expected. Expect flooding to continue into the weekend along many river systems. If you have to travel or live near rivers with high water, be prepared for flooding impacts. Exercise caution. Never cross a flooded road. The Flood Watch is now in effect for

* Portions of central Wisconsin, north central Wisconsin, southwest Wisconsin, and west central Wisconsin, including the following areas, in central Wisconsin, Adams, Clark, and Juneau. In north central Wisconsin, Taylor. In southwest Wisconsin, Crawford, Grant, Richland, and Vernon. In west central Wisconsin, Jackson and Monroe.

* Until 1 PM CDT this afternoon

* Additional rainfall up to 1/2 inch expected.

* Prolonged moderate to heavy rainfall has resulted in rising water on rivers and streams. Some flooding is occurring.

* AFFECTED AREAS: CRAWFORD ... GRANT ... JUNEAU ... MONROE ... RICHLAND ... ADAMS ... VERNON ... TAYLOR ... CLARK ... JACKSON

Instructions:

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on current forecasts. Please monitor weather conditions and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action if flooding develops.
