The Seeing Eye will be hosting The Doggy Dash Walk and Run 5K this Sunday, 10/07/2018, in the Lidgerwood Park neighborhood from 0930 until 12 noon. This race will be limited in its impact to traffic, however a few roads will be closed at the start of the event. Lidgerwood Parkway will be closed from 9 am until 12 noon. Northbound James St. will be closed for a brief time to accommodate the race start, motorists will be detoured to Ogden Pl., to Miller Rd. to Maple Ave. James St. will then reopen to NB vehicle traffic, as runners will share the road on the return loop back to Lidgerwood Parkway. The race course will take runners from Lidgerwood Parkway to Glenwood Rd., Crestwood Rd., Knollwood Rd., Edgewood Rd., back to Lidgerwood Parkway to Paula Ct., to Rona Rd., to Windmill Dr., to Collins Dr., to Bell Dr. in Morris Township, to Cottonwood Rd., to Applewood Lane, and then back NB on James St. to Lidgerwood Parkway. Roadways will be open during the event, so please use caution if traveling in these areas on Sunday. Uniformed police officers and race marshals will be on hand to assist.
