Fatal Accident Manitowoc Rd/Brosig St

**UPDATE INTERSECTION OPEN FOR NORMAL TRAFFIC**
On Thursday October 4th at approximately 7:30pm, Green Bay Police responded to a vehicle vs. pedestrian accident at Manitowoc Rd and Brosig St on Green Bay’s east side. The pedestrian a 36 year old Green Bay resident was transported to an area hospital where she later died. The driver of the vehicle a 40 year old female was not injured. The deceased name is being held pending notification of family.
The Green Bay Accident Reconstruction Unit is investigating the accident. At this time alcohol does not appear to be a factor. The roadway has been temporarily closed but it is anticipated to be open before the morning commute.
No further information is being released at this time.
