It is important to know that grass clippings MUST NOT be placed in the roadway.  Grass will not be picked up by the Township.  It should be bagged and disposed of in your blue trash cart.  Please go to the Public Works webpage for more details on how to dispose of grass clippings and other items.  http://www.lawrencetwp.com/pw.html

Please be reminded that at the end of October brush collection will be suspended.  During the months of November and December, the Public Works Department will only be picking up leaves.

Brush must not be placed at the curb for pick-up earlier than the weekend prior to your designated pick-up week.

The week of October 8 is Zone 2.  Only those residents in Zone 2 should be placing brush in the roadway this week.  If you are unsure of your designated zone for your property, you may check the On-Line Property search on Township website at www.lawrencetwp.com.

Material should be placed in an area on the street not greater than four feet (4’) from the edge of the pavement.  Trees greater than an 8-inch caliper may not be disposed of through curbside collection.  Materials shall not be piled greater than three (3’) in height.  Once the truck has collected your street, they will not return until the next month’s collection.
