Emergency Alert System Test scheduled for today. 
Your cellphone wil be going off this afternoon, it is a TEST. The FCC and FEMA will be testing the Emergency Alert System. The Test is scheduled for today, Wednesday October 3rd at 2:18pm.
The system test will be sent out NATIONWIDE.
The test will run from 2:18pm to 2:48pm.
Cellphones will receive a text message one (1) time. The text will read:
PRESIDENTIAL ALERT
This is a test of the National Wireless Emergency Alert System. No action is needed. Please share this information with friends and relatives.
