Wind Advisory until 07:00PM 
The National Weather Service in Sioux Falls has issued a Wind Advisory, which is in effect from 4 PM this afternoon to 7 PM CDT this evening.
* TIMING...Mid afternoon through this evening.
* WINDS...Southwesterly 20 to 25 mph winds will shift to stronger northwest winds at 25 to 30 mph with gusts 40 to 50 mph.
* IMPACTS...Loose objects could be blown around, and weakened tree branches that haven't seen strong winds recently could fall. Motorists with high profile vehicles should also use caution.
* AFFECTED AREAS: JACKSON ... DAKOTA ... DIXON ... CHEROKEE ... CLAY ... LYON ... WOODBURY ... UNION ... O'BRIEN ... ROCK ... PIPESTONE ... OSCEOLA ... COTTONWOOD ... DICKINSON ... LINCOLN ... PLYMOUTH ... NOBLES ... SIOUX ... MURRAY ... LYON

A Wind Advisory is issued when sustained winds are forecast to be 31 to 39 mph or gusts will range between 46 and 57 mph. Winds of these magnitudes may cause minor property damage without extra precautions. Motorists in high profile vehicles should use caution until the winds subside.
