JPD set to increase parking enforcement downtown 
Beginning October 1st the City of Janesville Police Department intends on increasing the emphasis on enforcing parking violations in the downtown area. During the month of October most vehicles in violation of parking restrictions downtown will receive a warning with hopes of gaining future voluntary compliance. Parking tickets will still be issued for handicapped parking violations and/or other egregious parking violations.
Beginning November 1st tickets will be issued for all parking violations observed.
