On Saturday, October 6th 2018, The Burlington Township Police Department will be allowing individuals to dispose of medications anonymously. No questions or requests for identification will be made. Individuals (No Businesses) will be able to deposit medication freely and independently.
Individuals may dispose of the medication in its original container and will place the medication inside the Project Medicine Drop Box. If the original container is submitted, the individual is encouraged to remove the prescription label from the container.
Liquid products, such as cough medicine, should remain in the original sealed container. The individual depositor should ensure that the cap is tightly sealed to prevent any type of leakage.
SYRINGES AND OTHER SHARP INSTRUMENTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
