Train versus pedestrian collision near 66th St & Shellmound St 
At approx. 1210 PM this afternoon Officers responded to 66th St/Shellmound St on the reports of a Union Pacific Train versus a pedestrian. The pedestrian sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Union Pacific PD responded to the scene and took lead on the investigation with the assistance of Emeryville PD. Normal rail service has resumed.
The Emeryville Police Department would like to remind the community to please remember to remain vigilant when walking or driving near the train tracks and always be safe.
