San Leandro Police offers assistance to East Bay Regional Parks Police in death investigation. 
Early this morning, a subject came to the San Leandro Police Department with information regarding the location of a deceased person. The subject directed SLPD officers to a body that was found in the area of Lake Chabot, outside the City of San Leandro's jurisdiction.
The East Bay Regional Parks Police Department was notified and has assumed this investigation. The San Leandro Police Department has made some resources available to EBRPPD to assist in their case.
