Janesville Police Department Hosts Snipercraft's Basic Sniper School 
Today at 8:00 AM our second Basic Sniper Class started. The class will be at the Janesville Police Department Range from 8:00 AM until 6:00 PM Monday through Friday.
We have 19 students registered for the class however, one had to withdraw because of a concussion sustained prior to class. The students come from Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota and Wisconsin along with two instructors from Florida.
Since we are the hosting agency we were given a free spot in the class to train one of our SWAT members as a sniper
This class along with others we have hosted support our local businesses with students staying at our hotels and eating in our restaurants. We also get free training for our officers
