Old Trenton Road Bridge over Bridgegroom Run Closure -
On or About Monday, October 1st for Reconstruction
Mercer County announces that on or about Monday, October 1st, weather permitting, Old Trenton Road will be closed for the Replacement of Old Trenton Road Bridge over Bridgegroom Run (County Bridge 745.3) Project.
Beginning on or about Monday, October 1st, weather permitting, work will occur with the ROAD CLOSED to through traffic. Detours will be posted, at New Village Road and at Edinburg Road (CR526) /Windsor Road (CR 641) , 24 hours a day. Traffic will be detoured using New Village Road and Edinburg Road (see map).
No traffic of any kind will be permitted to cross the bridge itself once closed. The remainder of the road outside of the bridge will remain open to local traffic only and resident services (waste collection, mail, etc.). Please plan accordingly. Delays are to be expected, particularly during peak hours. Total project completion is expected to take 150 days, weather permitting.
