Recently, Officers and Community Service Interns have taken four theft from auto reports from victims that were parked in Bairds Creek. In the past, victims usually report that their cars were unlocked but this is not the case in these incidents.

Victims have reported that their car windows were broken and their pursues and valuables were taken. We encourage everyone to remove all purses and valuables from plain view. Though this is an anomaly, this crime prevention tip will reduce your chances of being a victim of this crime.

Bairds Creek is one of the hidden jewels of this community and we want everyne to enjoy the walking and biking trails. We encourage you to use and enjoy this area but at the same time be sure to lock your vehicle and remove any valuables from plain sight.
