South Lyon Area Pumpkinfest is this weekend! As always, there are road closures for the festival as well as the Parade. Please use caution while navigating through and around the city during this time due to extra pedestrian and vehicle traffic.

Please obey the "No Parking" signs. They are already posted and will be enforced.

Closures --
Starting on September 28th at Noon the intersection of Pontiac trl and Ten Mile will be closed for the weekend. Points of closure are: Pontiac Trl at Whipple St, Ten Mile at Washington St, Ten Mile at Wells St, Pontiac Trl at Liberty St and Pontiac Trl at Detroit St.

Pumpkinfest Parade --
The parade staging area will be at Centennial Middle School on September 29th. Nine Mile from Centennial to Pontiac Trl will close at 8:30am. At 9:30am we will also start to close down Pontiac Trl from Nine Mile to Liberty St. These areas will be closed for approximately 90 minutes while the parade makes its way through the city, ending at Bartlett Elementary.

The Festival will conclude at 6pm on September 30th and roads should be open between 6pm and 7pm.

Please share with family and friends so they can avoid the area if they do not plan on participating in the festivities but we hope to see you there!
