The National Weather Service in Sterling Virginia has extended the

* Flood Warning for... Eastern Washington County in north central Maryland... Northwestern Carroll County in north central Maryland... Frederick County in north central Maryland... Northwestern Berkeley County in the Panhandle of West Virginia...

* Until 200 PM EDT.

* At 839 AM EDT, stream gauges indicate flooding is still possible on larger streams and may be occurring on smaller streams across Berkeley County and eastern Washington County. Some road closures still exist further east in north central Maryland from earlier flooding that may still be ongoing.

* AFFECTED AREAS: BERKELEY, WV ... CARROLL, MD ... WASHINGTON, MD ... FREDERICK, MD

Instructions:

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
