Shenandoah River at Millville affecting Clarke...Warren and Jefferson Counties The National Weather Service in Sterling Va has issued a
* Flood Warning for The Shenandoah River at Millville.
* From this evening until Sunday morning.
* At 3 AM Friday the stage was 7.8 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by early this evening and crest near 11.8 feet by tomorrow morning. The river will fall below flood stage by early Sunday morning.
* Impact...At 12.0 feet...Water reaches the river access at Wagon Trail Place near Harpers Ferry, and completely covers the parking lot of the lower boat ramp at Millville Dam. Portions of the Cool Spring Battlefield begin to flood.
* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 12.6 feet on Jun 24 2018.
* AFFECTED AREAS: CLARKE, VA ... JEFFERSON, WV ... WARREN, VA
